Universe

Between the 8th and 11th centuries, the Vikings kept the world on edge. Always in search of new lands, they didn’t hesitate to fight among themselves. In this game, two clan leaders face off, using clever tactics to claim a fertile stretch of land along the Norwegian coast. They quickly build villages in strategic locations and fight with everything they’ve got to secure the largest share of the region for their clan.

Gameplay

Fjords is a tile-laying game that unfolds in two phases. First, players explore the fjords by placing hexagonal tiles that represent the landscape. Then, starting from camps established during the first phase, they traverse the land to claim as many plains and cliffs as possible.

The winner is the player who has claimed the most territory. Smart placement and the ability to plan ahead while reacting tactically will be your greatest assets.
