Every dog wants to have fun — just not when the owner gets home. The Bark Side is a trick-taking game with a twist: you want your very last card to be the lowest one on the table, or you're the dog left holding the blame.
Gameplay
Win each trick by playing the higher card; if no one can beat it, the dog "in the middle" tucks its tail and the trick is won. Tricks can be started with a combination of same-numbered cards, and players must beat it with a higher combination. On the final hand of each round, "the owner comes back" — whoever plays the highest card during that trick takes all the blame, collecting every card played that round. Play continues over several rounds. The game ends when a player collects seven different dog types, or when six cards can no longer be dealt to each player — and whoever has the fewest dog types wins.
