The FIJ 2025: The Independent Publishers Alliance Joins the Biggest French Board Gaming Convention!
The Festival International des Jeux (FIJ), held at Cannes' convention center (yes, the same one as the famous film festival), is France’s largest board gaming event. The 2025 edition, from February 25 to March 2, marks the first official appearance of the Independent Publishers Alliance at a French convention!

This year, our team will welcome you to the IPA space, featuring multiple booths—one for each publisher we represent—as well as a dedicated store where you can discover and purchase their latest games. Try out exciting new releases from your favorite publishers and grab them on the spot!

Not attending FIJ? No worries—you can access the same games and special offers online, just as if you were there!

FAMILY AND CARD GAMES:

-MATAGOT

Founded in 2005, Matagot has become a major player in the board gaming world, known for hits like Takenoko, River Dragons, Captain SONAR, and Room 25, as well as microgames. This year, Matagot is unveiling several exciting new titles:

Panda Spin – A thrilling shedding game by Carl Chudyk (Innovation, Glory to Rome).
Okko – A microgame adaptation of the beloved French comic series.
Finspan – A fresh take on the Wingspan system with a brand-new theme. Find it at booth 32.01!

You'll also be able to try recent Matagot releases, including Chu Han, Hibachi: Fired Up!, Kyoto no Neko, Gangs of Kyoto, Linx, Rankster, and more!

-NO LOADING GAMES
The Canadian publisher specializes itlef in creating premium boardgame adpation of popular licenses. At CAnnes, you'll be bale to discover their new title, Astérix & Compagnie, co-published with Matagot. Try it on booth 33.08!

-KENDI GAMES
Specializing in fun and addictive roll & write games, Kendi Games will showcase three of their latest titles—Sixto, Toutélié, and Coche Express—at booth 32.05.

-GOAT STUDIO
This brand-new Bordeaux-based publisher, founded in 2024 by two friends, makes fun and ultra-accessible games. Their debut title, Bande 2 Nazes, embodies their vision—try it at booth 32.07!

-2F SPIELE
German publisher 2F Spiele exclusively releases games by Friedemann Friese. Discover Filets-au-Fish, FTW, and 5 Cornichons at booth 33.10!

-2TOMATOES
Returning for a second FIJ appearance, the Spanish publisher will present Nessie and Boule Rouge—two highly accessible games for 2 to 6 players—at booth 32.01.

-ASPIC GAMES
Aspic Games brings colorful, family-friendly titles full of joy and creativity. Check out their latest game, Coco Ninja, at booth 33.04!

-GRAIL GAMES

In 2014, David Harding set up Grail Games - a publishing house focused on eurogames of medium to high complexity and small card games. This year, you'll be able to find two eurogames at Grail games booth 33.05: Civolution, the new heavy eurogame by Stefan Feld, and Snowcrest, an accessible hand management and tableau building game set in remote moutains!

-KOLOSSAL GAMES
The publisher specialised in epic boardgames and card games will be at the FIJ, and will introduce their new release Evolution: the new world at their booth 33.03 

-APORTA GAMES
Know for making high quality eurogames, the northern Publisher Aporta will premiere in french Saltfjord, the awaited revamping of their classic Santa Maria. Find it on booth 33.05! 

-CHILIFOX
Another famous northern publisher know for making revered eurogames, Chilifox games will be at booth 33.06 to demo their recent reklease, Spectacular. 

-ARCHONA GAMES
Specialised in intricate and immersive games filled with premium components, the Archona Games team will be at the booth 33.02 to showcase their latest release: Pest!
