This pocket edition is a convenient, portable and slightly scaled-down version of the big-box game, Capital Lux 2: Generations.

Capital Lux 2: Pocket, the stand-alone sequel to 2016's acclaimed tactical card game, introduces a range of tradeable capital powers that can be mixed and matched as you wish. This makes for a total of 81 unique power combinations. One of these combinations plays the role of the original Capital Lux, while the other 80 present players with new tactical challenges.

Gameplay

The heart of the game revolves around the following dilemma: do you play the character cards in your base to gain points, or do you take them to the capital to benefit from their powers? At the end of a turn, the total value of a color in your base cannot exceed the current total value of the capital. If you exceed this limit, you lose these cards. At the end of the third round, all remaining cards in your original base are worth points.

The game thus becomes a razor's edge balancing act: Get as many points as possible without exceeding the capital's limit, while taking into account the capital's current power.
