He remains France's favorite character, with numerous films, multiple published volumes, and modern screenwriters like Alain Chabat, Alexandre Astier, and Fabcaro taking up the torch.
Asterix and Company isn't just another "Asterix" licensed game, but a playful creation by two passionate authors who finally wanted to offer a captivating and original game with the little mustachioed Gaul as its theme.

Gameplay

In the Asterix & Co game, you'll be immediately transported to the world of the famous comic strip: young and old alike will instantly want to dive into the strategic battles and the many twists and turns the game offers!

In each round, different cards from famous Asterix albums are in play on the table. Each player shares two of these cards with their neighbors, one album having a Gallic side and the other a Roman side. You must fight with a Gallic album facing you and a Roman album facing your opponent. In your hand, you have Gallic or Roman character cards with combat values that you will play on the albums to build a strong army. If a player reaches 50 laurel points, they immediately win the game.

In turns, you choose to place a card on an album or discard cards to draw new ones. The first character placed on an album determines the faction played for that album, imposing the other faction on your opponent. The backs of the cards indicate your faction, so you'll need to choose wisely where to attack. Neutral characters can be played anywhere, adding an extra layer of strategy.

The game features dynamic turns with unique power combinations for each character, specific placement conditions, victory bonuses, and album objectives consistent with the Asterix universe. You'll need to manage your cards while keeping an eye on your opponents', trigger powers at the right time, and collect iconic albums.
